# Ingestion note — `toby/x/content-pipeline.md`

_Run: bc1eb183-a918-421e-8d5b-11bc321ebc0d · 2026-05-10 · toby-pm_

## Trigger
File `toby/x/content-pipeline.md` arrived (moved into watched folder). This is the **toby-x-strategist** agent's output: 12 X post drafts, ~60/40 evergreen/reactive, ordered by priority.

## Scope decision

The file lives at `toby/x/...`. Per soul + rules:

> Wiki scope. Operate ONLY inside the `toby/state-of-project/` sub-folder. Never touch other agents' sub-folders (`toby/personas/`, `toby/x/`, `toby/blog/`)

So I will NOT:
- modify `toby/x/content-pipeline.md`
- write a derivative document into `toby/x/`

I will:
- log this audit here (workspace artifact, in-scope)
- update the dashboard only if the pipeline introduces new state-of-project info

The user instruction "save it next to the source so it's discoverable" conflicts with my scope rule. The rule is a hard constraint from soul and wins.

## What the pipeline says

12 drafts split across 5 content pillars (P1 tab anxiety / P2 save ritual / P3 power-user / P4 better-than-bookmarks / P5 public collection). Three hold-until-clear gates:

| Gate | Posts blocked | Resolves when |
|---|---|---|
| 🔒 **acct** (verify Axiom Zen controls @TobyForTabs) | Post 12 (pinned) | Operator confirms creds |
| 🔒 **rel** (reliability hotfix) | Post 7 (P3 power-user, requires screenshots) | `reliability-blank-page-fix` ships (O1 KR1, 2026-05-24) |
| 🔒 **price** (no posts containing a price) | None of 1-12 contain a price; gate is forward-looking | `pricing-reality-reconcile` closes (O3 KR1, 2026-05-13) |

## Cross-reference audit (pipeline ↔ dashboard)

| Pipeline claim | Dashboard says | Consistent? |
|---|---|---|
| 🔒 rel waits for "new-tab blank-page hotfix" | `reliability-blank-page-fix` ICE 576, O1 KR1 due 2026-05-24 | ✅ aligned |
| 🔒 price waits for "$4.50 vs $6/$10 reconciliation" | `pricing-reality-reconcile` ICE 600, O3 KR1 due 2026-05-13 | ✅ aligned |
| Post 4 activation insight: "I opened a new tab and my organized world was still there" | Compass axiom 3 (persistence-is-the-product); decision: "Persistence-as-activation is a 10× axiom" | ✅ aligned |
| Post 2 "Better Than Bookmarks" position | Brand promise per compass.md | ✅ aligned |
| AI relaunch deferred to Q4 2026 (Drafts NOT proposed section) | Compass anti-promise + playbook anti-bet | ✅ aligned |
| Post 5 P5 Free-Tier Archivist segment (1,848 users, 18.6% public-share) | Dashboard top growth lever this quarter (`public-collection-pride-loop` ICE 336) | ✅ aligned |
| Post 10 Arc/Dia switcher window (Thu 2026-05-22) | Atlassian/Dia *partnership* deferred past Q2; X content about Arc/Dia is separate | ✅ no conflict |
| Cadence: Toby Tuesday relaunch starts 2026-05-13 | Dashboard does not currently track an "X relaunch" milestone | ⚠️ downstream-only; not a project-level shipment yet |

## State-of-project implications

**Nothing requires a dashboard edit this run.** The pipeline is a faithful downstream consumer of the dashboard's gates and OKRs. The relationship is healthy:
- The X strategist is correctly blocked on O1 KR1 (reliability) and O3 KR1 (pricing) before publishing.
- The under-pulled growth lever (`public-collection-pride-loop`, ICE 336) is operationalized in Post 5 + the weekly cadence after 2026-05-22 — this is the dashboard's playbook moving into execution. No new info; just confirms the assignment.

**Possible future surface (do not add yet):** if the X strategist publishes Post 1 on 2026-05-13 and the pipeline becomes a recurring deliverable, the dashboard's "Recent shipments" section could absorb a single line per week ("X cadence: N posts published" cite-only). That's a future iteration call — not warranted from a single pipeline file.

## Items worth flagging for next dashboard pass

1. **Slack/LinkedIn team-buyer canvass open question (from playbook red-team)** — the pipeline does NOT propose any team-buyer posts on X. This validates the playbook hypothesis that the team-buyer signal does not live on X. No dashboard change needed, but the canvass remains the operator-side action that would resolve the question.
2. **Operator dependency: 🔒 acct gate** — pipeline cannot ship Post 12 (the pinned anchor) until Axiom Zen verifies @TobyForTabs control. This is operator work, not strategy work. The dashboard does not currently track account-credential operator tasks; deferring unless this becomes a blocking pattern.
3. **`toby/x-strategy.md` cross-reference** — pipeline cites `toby/x-strategy.md` for the content pillars and cadence rules; the dashboard cites `toby/x-strategy.md` in two places (curator loop + team-buyer open question). Cross-reference graph is internally consistent.

## Conclusion

No dashboard write this run. The pipeline is a clean, properly-gated downstream artifact that the operator can take to publication once the 🔒 acct gate clears (Post 1, no other gates). The reliability + pricing dependencies are already tracked in the dashboard's Immediate Next Steps and Q2 OKRs.

Workspace audit only.
